Now that its cooling off, I can start quilting all the tops that I’ve sewn over the summer. You see, my midarm quilting machine is located in the finished attic of our house. There are stairs going up from my sewing room (the smallest bedroom in the house) so when I bought my midarm, the attic was the logical place to put it. But there’s no air conditioning up there, so it’s only habitable when it’s below 70 degrees out.
I’ve got 14 tops to quilt. I just started is a top requested by a friend as a gift to one of her friends. So that is getting done first. I’ve got some new tops and a few tops that have been waiting over a year to be quilted. Hopefully they’ll all get done this quilting season.
