Everyone knows my favorite color is purple. When I saw this challenge announced earlier this year, I had to enter. Using Cherrywood purple fabrics, create a quilt with Prince as the theme. I chose his song Diamonds & Pearls as my inspiration. My daughter suggested adding his guitar since it’s such an unusual shape. I was so excited to find out it was selected as a finalist to be included in the Tribute Tour, a group of 75 quilts going to quilt shows around the country!
